The Forest, Ecology and Environment department Thursday raised important issues concerning the department with the Finance department.
Manoj K Dwivedi, Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environmentdepartment, in a letter, said, “There are certain long pending issues with theFinance department, which need to be resolved at an earliest and hence, it isrequested that these issues may kindly be taken up with the Advisor S toGovernor and Financial Commissioner.”
The issues, as per the letter, include risk allowance toeligible employees of the Forest department, two-and-a-half days pay toeligible employees of Forest department, pending wages of daily wagers workingin different wings of Forest department, salary budget for employees of J&KState Pollution Control Board and uniform allowance for employees of Forestdepartment.
