A porter working with the army died under mysterious conditions here on Friday.
A police official said the deceased, Bala Ram of Chatyar, was working in army’s Corps Battle School in Chatyar village. “He was brought to Chatyar PHC by army on Friday after his health condition had deteriorated,. He passed away at the hospital,” said the official.
The body was later shifted to Rajouri GMC Associated Hospital for post-mortem and later handed over to the family for performing last rites. The official said police have started investigation into the matter.
