Continuing its efforts to reach out the needy people, Police distributed food and other eatable items among poor and needy in Bandipora and Ganderbal.
In a statement, police spokesperson said Bandipora Police asa part of ‘We Care For You’ initiative distributed ration and other essentialitems among the needy people across district besides assisted medical teams inmitigation efforts against COVID-19.
It said similarly, Ganderbal Police under the supervision ofSSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS distributed ration items among theneedy people of far-flung areas of Kangan and Preng.
“Police once again requests the general public of thevalley to maintain social distancing, good personal hygiene for prevention fromCoronavirus. Police is committed to mitigate the difficulties faced by peopledue to lockdown.” it added.
