A youth had to be hospitalised after he was allegedly thrashed by thesecurity forces during a search operation in Avend-Rawalpora village of southKashmir’s Shopian district on Monday.
Reports said Sartaj Ahmad Bhat was injured after he was beaten up bythe forces during the operation. He was shifted to District Hospital Shopianfor treatment, they said.
An official said that the search operation was launched jointly thearmy, police and the CRPF following inputs about the presence of militants.
