Revenue courts to go digital

Jammu: Revenue department has asked all its presiding officers to nominate nodal officers for implementation of “Revenue Court Cases Monitoring System in their jurisdictional courts.”

As per a circular, the mandate of nodal officers will also be the “communication of issues and necessary liaison with the NIC and Administrative department.”

These steps will be aimed at shifting the working of the revenue courts to online/e-office mode. “With focus on online delivery of services and prompt redressal of grievances, it has become imperative that the functioning of the department is brought in tune with these priorities,” read the circular.

“The DIOs will conduct hand-holdings sessions in their respective districts on the date of training or on succeeding date, so that all courts are created and their data/entry of cases is uploaded on the portal by or before November7, 2021,” it added.

All the Presiding Officers have been asked to ensure that all data entry is completed by or before November 7, 2021.
