Shabir Ahmad Mir of Tangmarg Baramulla resigned from National Conference on Wednesday.
A well-known businessman, Mir fought 2014 assembly electionas an independent candidate from Tangmarg and secured third spot. He joinedNational Conference in 2015.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, Mir said he was disappointed with the NC leadership for ignoring party workers in their decisions. “The NC leadership has failed to deliver in accordance with the party principles. The decisions taken by the party’s leadership are in contrast to ground realities,” Mir said.
