Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Wednesday pressed for the speedy disposal of time-bound cases at the district level, issues pertaining to placement of SarvaShikshaAbhiyan (SSA) head teachers, confirmation of 2014-batch masters, issues of empanelled ReTs and pay anomaly of masters.
A statement of JKTF issued here said that a meeting of JKTA held in Srinagar presided over by JKTF President Muhammad Akbar Khan, the JKTF leaders expressed hope that these issues would be resolved on a priority basis.
The statement said that commenting on the role played by JKTF in solving various issues of the teachers, Khan said that the JKTF had a history of bailing teachers out of troubles and solving several issues confronted by the employees of J&K.
During the meeting, the JKTF advisory council consisting of eight members – four in-service and four founder members – was expanded, the statement said.
The meeting also resolved to strive and pursue to resolve all the issues of the teachers community.
