The higher reaches of sub-division Mahore received heavy hailstorm on Tuesday afternoon, wreaking havoc.
Reports said that the hailstorm damaged maize crop and fruittrees.
“The hailstorm started in the afternoon and continued foraround half an hour. It damaged the crop and fruit trees,” Zaffar ud Din, aresident of Sukka, said.
As per reports, the hailstorm was recorded in Balmatkote,Sukka, Thrella, Manjikote, Bagodass, Dandakote, Bagankote, Dewal, Nihoch,Gulabgarh and Baransal.
The local populace appealed to the administration to send ateam in area and sanction compensation.
