To ensure hygienic supply of essentials to locals in theholy month of Ramadhan, Tehsildar Bhadarwah along with a team of officials frompolice, municipality and food, civil supplies and consumer affairs (FCS&CA)department conducted checking in the Bhadarwah market on chicken, mutton,sweet, vegetable shops, Grocery dealers and sweet shops.
The team checked rate list of chicken, meat, fruits,vegetables and sugar in Bhadarwah market and also ensured that chicken andmutton are being sold in hygienic conditions.
A special team under the supervision of Tehsildar Bhadarwah,Zeeshan Tahir, along with SDPO Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO Munir Khan checked thatthe commodities are being sold in hygienic condition and as per the rate list.
It also warned the shopkeepers to avoid use of polythene andrefrain from encroaching the footpath and motorable roads.
The team of around half a dozen officials carried out marketchecking at Pasri Bus Stand, Jamia Masjid, Saddar Bazaar, Vegetable Market,Seri Bazaar, Old Hospital Link Road and destroyed rotten vegetable, fruits andunhygienic food items.
They also seized huge quantity of polythene bags from theshopkeepers.
They also sought cooperation from public to make Bhadarwahpolythene free.
