3 injured in Rajouri highway accident

Rajouri: Three persons were injured in an accident on the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway on Wednesday.

The trio has been hospitalised at a local civil hospital.

Officials said that the accident occurred when a car and a bus coming from opposite directions collided head-on at Garn Morh near Nowshera Bridge on the highway.

Deputy SP Traffic Aftab Shah told Greater Kashmir that the three persons were injured in the accident and were admitted to a local civil hospital.

The injured include Gurdeep Singh, 25, son of Khem Singh, Jaswant Singh, 50, son of Sia Lamberdhar, and Ravinder Singh, 29, son of Suram Singh, all residents of Kotranka in Rajouri.

Police registered an FIR into the incident at Nowshera Police Station.
