Dr Zubair Tahiri receives honorary doctorate for humanitarian services

Srinagar, Feb 2: The Honorary Doctorate Award Council, approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has conferred an honorary doctorate on Dr Abdul Haleem Zubair Ahmad Bhat, known as Dr Zubair Tahiri.

This recognition is in appreciation of his outstanding contributions to the community, specifically in the domains of social work and human rights, particularly during the challenging period of COVID-19. Additionally, he has been registered as a life member of the World Human Rights Protection Commission.

Dr Zubair Tahiri has been honored with an award for his extensive dedication to humanitarian services and social work spanning several decades.
