Baramulla, Feb 16: Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, police have seized 2 vehicles and arrested 2 drivers in Baramulla.
A police party under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Tangmarg and PS Kunzer seized two vehicles and arrested two drivers, involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Ferozpora Tangmarg and Pinjoora Kunzer Baramulla. The accused drivers have been identified as Mehraj-ud-din Beigh resident of Bichipira and Irshad Ahmad Malik resident of Pariswani.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations and further investigation have been initiated.
