Rajouri, Mar 4: An army helicopter made emergency landing in wheat fields of Rajouri village.
Reports said the landing was made at Dewak Hathal village of Sunderbani sub division in Rajouri . Copter again took off after a few minutes.
As per official sources, an army Cheetah helicopter was on aerial sortie in the area of Sunderban when pilots flying the aircraft sensed some technical issue and decided to go for an emergency landing in safe area.
The helicopter, having pilot and copilot on board, made emergency landing in open wheat fields in the land of Balbir Singh in Dewak Hathal village.
“The aircraft was put to examination by pilot and co- pilot and they again went for a take off after a gap of few minutes,” the sources said.
They informed that both the pilot and co pilot as well as the helicopter are completely safe and it reached the destination after taking off from wheat fields.
