Rajouri, Apr 4: A four years old child died in a road accident at Nagrota near Rajouri town on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Adnan Ali (4) son of Mohammad Azam resident of Nagrota. Doctors said that the child was brought in GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri in critical condition with severe head injury where he succumbed during treatment.
They said that body of deceased was handed over to the family members after necessary legal formalities.Police on the other hands said that the deceased was returning from his school and he de-boarded the school bus and was crossing the road when he was knocked by an army vehicle.
Police informed that child was immediately shifted to civil hospital but he died.
