Kupwara, Sep 10: Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) senior leader Firdous Baba filed his nomination papers on Tuesday for Kupwara assembly constituency.
On the occasion Firdous while talking to reporters said that if elected Kupwara would be developed as a model constituency.
He said that people of Kupwara have been exploited and now they have understood who is their true representative.
He sought cooperation from people of Kupwara so that a new chapter of development is written for Kupwara.
Later, while addressing to his supporters, Baba said that it was right time for people to distinguish between right and wrong. He has previously served as AIP’s spokesperson and recently party gave him mandate to contest election for Kupwara assembly segment.
