Sopore, Feb 19: A man was killed while two others sustained critical injuries when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding load carrier in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday evening.
Reports said that the trio was travelling on the two wheeler on Sopore-Doabgah road when the load carrier coming from the opposite side hit and critically injured them al near Mazbugh area of Sopore.
The injured trio was rushed to SDH Sopore hospital where one among them was declared dead on arrival by the doctors. A police officer identified the deceased as Burhan Ahmad Parimoo 25, Son of Tariq Ahmad of Doabgah Sopore.
He identified the injured as Uzair Ahmad Dar 19, son of Mohammad Abdullah and Haris Ahmad Dar, 20, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar- both residents of Doabgah Sopore. They have been referred to SMHS Srinagar for specialized treatment, an official said.
