Srinagar, Mar 8: Madr-e-Meharban Institute of Nursing Science and Research SKIMS celebrated Women’s International Day.
The participants deliberated on various aspects of the theme and underlined the importance of greater participation and elimination of bias at different levels for cohesive society.
Director SKIMS & EOSG Prof. Parvaiz A. Koul graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He highlighted the significant contribution of women made in tackling pandemic. Prof Tariq Ahmad Gojwari, Dean Medical Faculty SKIMS and guest of honour of the event said women is main workforce at SKIMS and appreciated their role and performance at every level. Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr Farooq A Jan and Vice-Principal of the Nursing College, Muneera Kachroo highlighted importance of gender equality in Medical Field.
