Rajouri, June 20: The weekend lockdown due to coronavirus continued in Rajouri and Poonch districts for the second consecutive day on Sunday with all business establishments remaining closed.
The weekend lockdown due to coronavirus is enforced on Friday evening at 8 pm and ends at 6 am on Monday with only essential services allowed in weekend lockdown period while only medicine shops are allowed to open. Officials said that across both the districts, Covid-19 weekend lockdown remained in force with no non-permitted movement allowed.
The officials said that the markets kept wearing deserted looks due to weekend lockdown with many FIRs also being registered against violators who opened their business establishments against the directions.
