J&K reports 342 new COVID-19 cases, lowest daily spike in nearly three months

Srinagar, June 26: Jammu and Kashmir reported 342 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday in the last 24 hours, lowest single-day spike in nearly three months, while five more persons succumbed to the virus during the period, news agency GNS quoting officials reported.

As per official data, 107 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu division and 235 from Kashmir valley, taking the total count to 3,14,316.

   

Regarding deaths, four were reported from Jammu and one from Kashmir, taking the fatality count 4,296.

In the district-wise breakup, Srinagar reported 84 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 23, Pulwama 29, Kupwara 18, Anantnag 24, Bandipora 14, Ganderbal 18, Kulgam 15, Shopian 1, Jammu 11, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 15, Doda 10, Kathua 10, Samba 1, Kishtwar 13, Poonch 14, Ramban 12 and Reasi 19.

As per news agency GNS today’s is the lowest single-day spike in COVID-19 cases in J&K.
