Srinagar, May 31: National Conference (NC) senior leader Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan Monday expressed anguish over a massive fire incident that damaged several vegetable carts during a late night blaze at Sabzi market in Handwara town in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In a statement issued here, expressing grief over the incident, Ramzan said the fire incident had incurred heavy losses on poor vegetable cart vendors who had already suffered heavy losses due to Covid lockdown.
He said that the unfortunate incident of conflagration had further compounded their woes.
Ramzan urged the district administration to rehabilitate them at the earliest.
