65 Kg polythene, Rs 2500 fine realised by MC Kupwara

Kupwara, Aug 7: The Special Task Force of Municipal Council (MC) Kupwara today conducted an anti polythene drive in Kupwara town, during which 65 Kg of polythene was seized and a fine to the tune of Rs 2500 was realised from the violators.

Meanwhile, shopkeepers and other stakeholders were asked to use alternative means for carrying goods.
