Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday expressed his happiness over the result of Afzal Guru’s son in 12th class examinations.
Guru’s son Ghalib Guru has secured a distinction in the 12th class examinations, results of which were declared today.
In his congratulatory message, Mirwaiz wrote on Twitter: “Congratulation to all students who cleared class 12th exams. Happy to know about Ghalib Guru son of Shaheed Afzal Guru doing so well.”
Mirwaiz who is also the chairman of historic Islamia Higher Secondary School at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar congratulated Afreen Nazir, a student of the institution. “Proud of Afreen Nazir of Islamia Higher secondary school Rajouri kadal for securing first position in the commerce stream!,” he wrote in his tweet.
