Amazon boosts influencer commissions for Great Indian Festival

Srinagar, Sep 25: Amazon India has announced significant increases in commission rates for its network of over 50,000 influencers ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF). Starting September 27, 2024, Prime members will enjoy 24-hour early access to exclusive deals.

A statement said that the revised structure offers influencers up to 2x higher commissions across various product categories, including fashion, beauty, home, and more. Key increases include up to 12% for apparel and beauty appliances, and up to 10% for home and sports items.

   

Hundreds of creators will host over 1,500 live streams during AGIF as part of the Amazon Live program. The company has also launched Creator University and Creator Connect to support content creators.

Zahid Khan, Director of Shopping Initiatives, emphasized Amazon’s commitment to empowering creators and enhancing the customer shopping experience. Influencers like Surbhi Bhargava and Tanya Khanna expressed excitement about the increased earning potential and engagement opportunities.
