,Director Tourism, Kashmir, Nisar Ahmad Wani Thursday toured Sonamarg and Mansbal to take the stock of the developmental works and also identify the spots for wayside facilities en route for the convenience of travellers.
At Sonamarg, a meeting was held with Deputy Commissioner GanderbalHashmat Ali Khan, and other officers of the district to discuss the rates ofthe services providers including taxi operators from Sonamarg to Zero point.
During the meeting, it was decided that rates in consultation withthe service providers will be fixed and regulated so that travellers can make afair judgment of the charges for local sightseeing at Sonamarg.
Later in the evening, the director also visited Mansabal touristsresort to see the facilities for the travellers. From Srinagar to Sonmarg, manyspots were also identified for wayside facilities, cafeteria and publicconveniences.
