‘Govt won’t allow unregistered cos to enter market’

Minister for Education, Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari today highlighted the need for timely supply of standard tree spray oils for fruit industry of Jammu and Kashmir.

The minister made these remarks during the launch ceremony of Veedol tree spray oil at a local hotel here, an official handout said.

   

Deputy commissioner Budgam, Muhammad Harun Malik, director agriculture, Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi, and other officers concerned were present.

The representatives of Veedol company told the audience that the spray oil “is emulsified oil formulated from hydro-processed premium base oil and high-performance emulsifier additive, which provides excellent protection and effective management of some very difficult pests and other diseases on apple trees.” 

On the occasion, Bukhari said that Government will not allow any unregistered company to enter the market, for ensuring availability of quality horticulture mineral oils (HMO) to the farmers.
