Srinagar, June 2: All J&K Self Help Group of Engineers Association (SHGEA) has welcomed the appointment of new Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta.
In a statement, the Association said that appointment of Mehta as new CS has come at a time when the J&K Self Help Group of Engineers are going through tough time. “We have high expectations in his administrative capabilities and hope he will bailout Self Help Group of Engineers out of this tough time,” said State President Er. Syed Parvez Safvi. “He has held key positions in past in J&K and is remembered for several bold initiatives for the development of the J&K and for the welfare of the people of the J&K. He is being remembered as a hardworking officer.”
Safvi said that they have high hopes with the new CS “as he will intervene to get the restoration of the Self Help Group of Engineers Scheme on priority and will provide again livelihood to such technocrats who has been rendered jobless since August 2020. We assure him all possible cooperation for the development of J&K.”
