Baramulla. June 3: A welder died after falling from the third floor of an under-construction building in the premises of Government Medical College (GMC), Baramulla on Thursday, Police said.
He was identified as Sajad Ahmad Dar, 21, son of Muhammad Abbas Dar of Beerwah, Budgam.
The incident happened when the welder was working along with some other workers on the third floor of a building being constructed for GMC Baramulla.
“The welder lost his balance and fell from the third storey to the ground. He was immediately rushed to the GMC Baramulla associated hospital where he died,” a hospital official official.
Police confirmed the incident and said that the welder succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
