The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was reopened on Sunday evening after remaining shut in intervals for the last three days due to landslides.
An official at Traffic Control Unit Ramban said today the road was open one-way for load carriers and heavy vehicles and two-way for light motor vehicles.
He said the stranded traffic was allowed from Srinagar to Jammu. On Sunday morning, a landslide near Dugi Pulli between Ramban and Chanderkote sector closed the road for 10 hours. The highway was restored on late Sunday evening.
