Srinagar, Sep 12: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) , Dr Farooq Abdullah, today welcomed scores of political activists from various parties, including the PDP and Apni Party, as well as businessmen, youth leaders, and writers from Baramulla into his party fold.
According to a press release, the event took place at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s residence in Gupkar.
Fazal Mohammad Baig , brother of former minister Muzaffar Baig and former coordinator of the North JK Apni Party, along with influential leaders from the Sikh community in Kandi Baramulla town, also pledged their allegiance to the National Conference. Baramulla candidate Javaid Beigh and Pattan candidate Riyaz Bedar graced the occasion with their presence.
Dr Farooq Abdullah gave a warm welcome to the new members, expressing his hope that their inclusion will fortify the party’s presence in the region.
