Two people were electrocuted to death on Tuesday in Chunga Charan village of Mendhar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The deceased were identified as 40 year-old Faiz Ahmed sonof Mohammad Sharif and 38 year-old Mohammad Shabir son of Abdul Rahim.
Reports said the duo received shock after they came in touchwith a live wire.
They said the incident took place around 3 am after thevillage transformer developed a snag, leading to disruption in power supply.
