Ramban, Jan 11: Kishtwar police arrested a man after they recovered cannabis-like substance from his possession on Thursday.
Police sources said that police established a checkpoint at the Panditgam area and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK17A-5611. During search of the vehicle a significant quantity of a cannabis-like substance in the possession of the driver was recovered.
Police said Imran Ahmed Sheikh son of Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, residing at Bandrenain Kishtwar was arrested.
