Jammu, May 13: In a major success, Kathua police today seized 16 vehicles that were involved in bovine smuggling.
Acting on an input, a strong contingent of police led by SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Jammu seized 16 vehicles that were loaded with 145 bovines for smuggling purposes. However, the bovine smuggling attempt was foiled following timely intelligence inputs.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress after the registration of FIR at the concerned police stations.
