Jammu, Aug 23: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu zone Anand Jain has exhorted all the officers to remain vigilant and proactive in addressing any challenges that might arise during the induction and deployment of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) units in the wake of upcoming assembly polls.
He made these remarks, while chairing a high-level meeting at the Police Control Room (PCR) Jammu to discuss the induction plan and mobilization of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in the region.
The meeting was convened on August 22, in light of the upcoming assembly elections and to ensure a whole coordination among the forces deployed in J&K.
The agenda of the meeting primarily focussed on the induction of CAPF units, their strategic mobilization, and addressing any logistic and operational challenges that might arise during the deployment.
Senior officers from CAPF, including IG CRPF, IG BSF, DIG SSB, DIG CISF, CO of RPF and other related agencies, were present to provide insights and discuss the intricacies involved in the process.
Jain emphasised the importance of maintaining coordination and communication among the various forces. He directed the officers to expedite the finalization of the induction plan and ensure that all necessary resources were in place for a smooth deployment.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various related issues, including the allocation of accommodation, transportation and other logistical support required for the CAPF personnel.
The meeting concluded with a comprehensive action plan being laid out for the timely induction and mobilisation of CAPF units, with clear responsibilities assigned to the respective officers.
