A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF) led by its general secretary Ganesh Khajuria today called on the state project director (SPD), Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), at his office chambers here, apprising him about the miseries faced by the teachers working under SSA due to non availability of salaries.
“The members urged the SPD to streamline and regulate the salaries of SSA teachers once for all. The pending salaries should be released at an earliest.
They discussed also the issue of B.Ed of those teachers who have recently completed their graduation,” a spokesman of the Forum, in a statement today, said, adding that the SPD on the occasion assured that the regulation and streamlining of SSA will be made very soon and that the teachers who have completed the graduation in recent past will be deputed for B. Ed.
