Three persons were killed and four others critically injuredafter a van rammed into an army vehicle in Ghagwal area of Samba district of Jammuand Kashmir on Tuesday.
A police official said the accident took place at Sandh Bariarea of Ghagwal in Samba at 1:20 AM.
A van (JK21C-2944) on way from Samba to Ghagwal rammed intothe back side of an army vehicle on the highway at Sandh Bari, resulting intoon spot death of three persons.
The deceased were identified as Sunita Rani wife of AshwaniKumar resident of Chak Dulma, Gopi Krishan son of Som Dutt resident of Badyal,and Harsh Bardan son of Bishan Dass resident of Badyal.
Four others who got injured in the accident include RenuSharma wife of Asha Ram resident of Badyal, Shammi son of Des Raj resident ofNadala, Asha Ram son of Som Dutt resident of Badyal and one-year old Taksh sonof Ashwani Kumar resident of Badyal.
SSP Samba Dr. Koshal Sharma said that the police have takencognizance of the incident.
