Srinagar, Dec 17: The High Court of J&K and Ladakh Friday announced winter vacations in subordinate courts in Kashmir and some in the Jammu division besides those in Ladakh for 15 days from January 3.
“It is notified for the information of all concerned that the subordinate courts in Kashmir province and the courts located in Kishtwar and Doda districts, and those located at Batote, Gool, Banihal and Ukhral in Ramban district and Bani in Kathua district in J&K, as well as all courts located in Ladakh, will observe 15 days winter vacations with effect from January 3, 2022 to January 17, 2022,” read an order issued by Registrar General, Jawad Ahmad.
It said that the Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned districts should make suitable arrangements for disposal of urgent criminal business arising during the period of such vacations in the areas within their respective jurisdictions.
