24 more die of COVID-19 in J&K, toll 3,633

At least 24 more COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir since last evening, taking the fatality count to 3,633, officials said on Tuesday.

With these deaths, 1,303 people have succumbed to the virus this month alone.

News agency GNS while quoting officials, reported that 14 of the fresh deaths were reported from the J&K’s winter capital Jammu, mainly at GMC Jammu, while ten patients succumbed to the virus in Kashmir.

Among others, officials said, a 70-year-old man from Batamaloo Srinagar died at SKIMS Bemina, 12 days after he was admitted there.

Another septuagenarian man from Arampora Khansahib in Budgam died at a COVID-19 dedicated hospital in Chanpora in uptown Srinagar, they said.

A 63-year-old woman from Tral Pulwama died at CD hospital Srinagar a day after she was admitted to the Valley’s exclusive Covid-19 management facility.

A 90-year-old man from Natipora Srinagar died five days after he was admitted there, officials said.

They said that two septuagenarian men from Sangam died along with two other COVID-19 patients at GMC Anantnag.

A 75-year-old man from Behbagh died at District hospital at Pulwama , they said.

Also, a 75-year-old man died at GMC Baramulla, they said.
