Bandipora, 5 Nov: Authorities on Friday closed the Bandipora-Gurez Road for traffic after fresh snowfall in Gurez valley.
The snow on the Razdan top connecting the valley with Bandipora has forced the closure of the road due to slippery conditions.
Dawar, the central Tehsil of Gurez was receiving light to moderate snowfall while as Tualil was witnessing moderate snow when reports last came in.
SDM Gurez, Mudasir Ahmad confirmed that the road has been closed. It is for the third time that Bandipora-Gurez road has closed since October due to snowfall.
