A shutdown is being observed in Budgam and Magam towns inBudgam district of central Kashmir against the alleged rape of a three-year-oldgirl in Sumbal area of Bandipora district in north Kashmir.
Reports said that all the business establishments andeducational institutions remained close while traffic is also off the roads inboth the towns.
Adequate forces have also been deployed at sensitive pointsin both the towns to thawart any law and order problem.
Reports said that authorities have also imposed restrictionsin the two towns as a precautionary measure.
Internet services also continue to remain suspended inBudgam district.
