Dr Ashraf Ganaie bereaved

Pulwama, Nov 18: The mother of Dr Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie, Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, passed away on Thursday and her Fateha Khawani would be observed on Monday (November 20).

According to Ganaie family, Taja Begum, wife of late Muhammad Shaban Ganaie of Dangarpora, Shadimarg of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district passed away on Thursday and her congregational Fateha Khawani would be convened on Monday (November 20) at 11 am at the family’s ancestral graveyard at Dangarpora, Shadimarg.

   

According to the family, the Fateha Khawani would be followed by day-long condolence and prayer meeting at the residence of the bereaved family at Dangarpora.

According to the Ganaie family, Taja Begum passed away on Thursday (November 16) and was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard at Dangarpora on Friday (November 17).

Hundreds of people joined the Jinaza prayers of the deceased and prayed for the departed soul.

She is survived by four sons and a daughter.
According to the family, Dr Ganaie would also receive condolences in Srinagar at his residence 82-A, Masjid Lane, Al-Farooq Colony, Sanath Nagar on Monday (November 21).
