The father of a Kashmiri dental surgeon died of Covid-19 in theUnited Kingdom where he was buried as per his will, his family members said.
Dr Ziya Rasool said his father had travelled to the UK along withhis mother last November where his two other sons are settled.
“My two brothers, both doctors, are settled there (in the UK). Mybrother had contracted the disease and it got transmitted to my father as wellas my mother but unfortunately, my father could not survive as he diedyesterday,” he told news agency GNS.
“He was buried as per his will there. After completing theformalities, the burial took place today.” He also informed that his mother andbrother have recovered.
The deceased, he said, was a former government employee.
