District administration, Ganderbal in collaboration with civil society Ganderbal (CSG) held a camp where permanent resident certificates (PRCs) were given to local residents on spot.
The camp was first of its kind in Ganderbal whereadminstration reached to doorsteps of people to provide the service.According to tehsildar, Ganderbal, Mohammed Iqbal Malik the concernedPatwari, Girdawaar, Chokidaar and the other revenue staff was stationed in thevillage three days prior to the camp to ensure the issuance of revenue extracts, a prime requirement for PRCs .
