Srinagar, June 5: The body of an infant was found in a rivulet in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.
Quoting the officials, news agency KNO reported that the body was found near a bridge on Yathvathur rivulet at Manigam, Qazigund today afternoon.
The body was fished out and taken to nearby health facility for legal medical formalities, an official said.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident.
