Srinagar, Oct 7: Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Monday has been nominated as Executive Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority.
“ In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act) read with rule 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority Rules, 2020 and in supersession of Notification S.O 617 of 2022 dated 21st November, 2022, the Lieutenant Governor, in consultation with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, hereby nominate Hon’ble Mr. Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as Executive Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority,” reads a notification issued by Department of Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
