Two women were rescued after a boat capsized in Wular Lakenear Zurimanz village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.
An official said that mother-daughter duo drowned aftertheir boat capsized in Wular Lake near navy camp.
“They were immediatelyrescued after navy men noticed that a boat capsized in the lake outside theircamp,” he said.
Locals said that Rafiqa Begum and her daughter Laali weregoing to Sopore via Wular Lake when their boat capsized in the lake.
