Srinagar June 7: A motorcyclist died while as his pillion rider was injured in a road accident near Aharbal area of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday afternoon.
Quoting a police official, news agency KNO reported that the bike rider Suhaib Ahmad Magray, son of late Javid Ahmad Magray and his pillion rider Sahil Iqbal Magray, son of Mohammad Iqbal Magray of Watoo were injured after head on collision with a vehicle near Aharbal.
Both the injured were rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where Suhaib succumbed to his injuries, the official said.
He said the condition of Sahil is critical at the hospital.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, he added.
