Kupwara, Sep 10: The District Legal Services Authority Kupwara, on Saturday held 3rd National Lok Adalat in all courts of the district.
To settle the 678 cases of different nature 6 benches were constituted by DLSA.
Similar benches were also constituted in the other courts of Handwara, Tangdar and Sogam. 449 cases were finally disposed off and compromised between the parties. Further, also an amount of Rs. 87,00,000 was also awarded to the parties through the intervention of these benches.
