The Joint Employees Coordination Committee of NHM, and other health schemes including RNTCP and NACO have extended their strike up to January 6.
The NHM employees are on strike for last more than ten days demanding regularization of their services.
In a statement here today the committee said since the government has been indifferent to their demand, “we have extended our strike up to January 6.”
The statement said for the past ten days no proposal for talks has come from the government side to them. This, it said, shows the indifference of the government towards its employees.
