Put an end to bloodshed in Kashmir: Hurriyat (M) to Indo-Pak

Hurriyat Conference (M) Tuesday said that the release of second detailed UNHRC report on Kashmir calls for the “urgent need to address the past and ongoing human rights violations and deliver justice to the people in Kashmir.”

In a statement a Hurriyat (M) spokesman said, “Both Indiaand Pakistan should implement the recommendations and remedies reiterated inthe OHCHR report from 2018.”

   

“Both India and Pakistan should engage with each other andwith the people of J&K and to move forward on resolution of the UNacknowledged Kashmir issue and put an end to bloodshed and human rightsviolations in all forms and on all sides and allow humanity to prevail,” the statementadded.

Meanwhile, the statement expressed concern on the healthcondition of Kashmir political prisoners in various jails and the extension incustody of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik.
