Security forces on Friday launched a search operation inSeer Hamdan area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
An official said that the searches were jointly launched bythe Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central ReservePolice Force (CRPF) and Rashtriya Rifles of the Army.
He said that all entry and exit points to the area have beensealed by the forces.
Seer Hamdan is located on Khanabal-Pahalgam (KP) road, 15kilometers from Anantnag town.
Door-to-door searches were going-on when this report was beingfiled.
